Golden Double At Hexham

A fabulous double for the yard at Hexham with two golden oldies Bescot Springs and Settledoutofcourt winning gamely.

Bescot Springs has found his form again and was given a good ride by Alex. He may be a schoolmaster but he is tricky to keep interested and Alex has found a key to him. It was excellent to have a Kelso Members Lowflyers winner again, may there be many more.

Settledoutofcourt has been in Fine form this season and the yard deserves credit for getting him in such strong form. He loved the ground and trip at Hexham and his jumping was impeccable .  He could aim at a few more distance chases before the summer.. He is pictured with Steven and Mark

We were really pleased with Topham Bay who is getting the hang of things and her second place will boost her confidence.

Haul Us In stepped up on her previous runs to be third; she looks to be shaping in to a good staying mare.

Finally Miss Joeking was a little rusty to begin with but galloped on well to be third and should find a few winning opportunities this summer.

It is excellent that the horses are running so well and a great team effort from everyone. I love that the yard has such high standards and a clean sweep of five best turned out awards is due reward for the hard work at home and by our travelling staff.
