A bit of a busy week coming up with the horses getting ready for the Scottish National meeting at Ayr, and next week's Perth Festival. Both meetings boast competitive racing for good prize money and usually provide safe going.

The Perth executive is to be applauded after investing £250,000 in a new watering system which allows them to irrigate the whole track in a third of the time that it used to take them. This should provide an even safe surface and enable us to keep horses sound through the summer racing, and I look forward to having plenty of runners there.
