Start Of The Week News And Pre Musselburgh

Some beautiful sunrises yesterday and today and the horses are all feeling sharp and well in the frosty weather.

We have five tomorrow at Musselburgh on good ground.

Maraweh missed the summer with a hind fetlock issue but he is back in training and looks enthusiastic. He is a little heavy but the race conditions will suit and it will be super to have him back on the track for the Tay Valley Chasers.

Devito'sgoldengirl raced through the summer for TVC in Maraweh's place and showed some good form, being placed for them. She now switches to fences and while the trip may be on the short side she has been schooling well.

We then run two in the novice hurdle, both horses needing a right handed track and good ground. Kelpies Myth has form round Musselburgh when winning his bumper, and Boys On Tour is back in trip having not finished his race over two and a half miles last time.

Finally, we run course specialist Superior Command in the two mile hurdle. He won round here last season and was a pleasing fourth on seasonal debut last month. A strong pace will suit him.
