Brave Superior Command Wins At Musselburgh

We had a super win at Musselburgh with the British Racing Club's horse Superior Command taking the two mile handicap hurdle, winning on the line under a driving finish from Derek. Having dropped himself out he looked to be in trouble on the home turn, but Musselburgh suits Superior Command and he loves ploughing on past horses up the straight. Sadly he finished lame and we will see how he is in the morning.

The novices ran better both settling midfield then staying on and their jumping was much better than last time. Kelpies Myth was third and Boys On Tour a close up fifth so both should be able to win a similar type of race in the future.Devito'sgoldengirl jumped well on her chase debut but found the sharp two and a half miles on good ground a bit quick. Maraweh lost his place in the back straight, and although he kept with them a lack of match practice showed and he was onepaced up the straight. Both horses will improve on these runs.
