Saturday News Catch Up

It looks like a bit of a boring weekend for us with racing tomorrow at Newcastle off, and even the point to point at Alnwick canceled. However, there is more racing coming up and we have a number of horses winding up for the meetings in the next few weeks.

Yesterday morning we schooled our new French recruit Bialco. A stunning grey by Dom Alco he won a chase last March at Nantes and has been placed at Auteuil. He belongs to our good friends Morton and Iben Buscop from Denmark, where Iben's family have the Hjortebo Stud; we hope that he can be a decent handicap chaser for them. Bialco is pictured. We also schooled Haul Us In, Topham Bay, OrionInverness, Vino's Choice and Thepensionfund. Bescot Springs, who is to be a point to point schoolmaster led some of the schooling with both Maisie and Beth who will be a couple of his jockeys this season.

Talking of schoolmasters, the delightful Momkinzain has left for his new home with Julia Dods in Northumberland where he will hunt and be used as a nanny to her three children's ponies. Star Of Milan and Onahandshake are both going to try some showjumping and eventing with Martin Arnott.

And finally, if you would like to become involved as an owner with the yard there is one 10% share left in recent winner Jump For Dough. On his performance last week it looks as if there will be more races to win over hurdles and we have some exciting plans for him. Purchase is just £3,000 plus VAT then £195 per month and we have a super owners group for you to join. More details from
