The Perth racecourse team have been hard at work watering the track and hopefully they will produce good safe ground for us tomorrow. It is tricky in the current heatwave conditions but they are doing their best for us.
We have three runners.
Alizee De Janeiro could not run at Cartmel due to a bruise but she is sound and well now and while this is a hotter race she should run with credit over the longer trip. Do not be surprised to see her held up on her first try at two and a half miles over fences.
Hey Listen has been running well this summer and he loves Perth so we are hoping for a solid run from him for the British Racing Club.
Finally we have the athletic young Gold Well gelding Mint Gold having his first run in a bumper. Highly thought of at home he will make a cracking novice hurdler later on.
