Prince Dundee Wins At Hexham

A brilliant front running ride from Blair saw Prince Dundee win his second chase for County Set Three and John McNeill. In the famous Lie Forrit colours, Dundee has gained in confidence on the good ground and his jumping was foot perfect today. He could have more to give as he continues to improve.

Pictured are Lesley, Caroline, John, George, Rita (hidden), Dundee, Iona and Blair in the winners enclosure.

We were also delighted with Exit To Where who, on his first chase start in the UK, jumped with enthusiasm and accuracy to be second behind Dundee. While a little keen he will be able to build on this run. It is unfortunate to run two in the same race, but Exit exceeded expectation and with today's experience should continue on his upwards curve.

In the handicap hurdle Saint Freule wore his heart on his sleeve once again and, having been a little keen through the race, he hit a flat spot, before rallying in the closing stages. His third place over this longer trip was full of credit.
