More Placings From Cartmel And Kelso

The horses are running consistently well but just missing out on the pole position, however, the recent runs have shown that there should be some wins around the corner.

Voix D'Eau seemed to enjoy the quirky Cartmel track today, well positioned throughout and just failing to catch the winner who asserted early on. This was an improved run, and given faster ground he should be very competitive next time.

Gripper also coped well with Cartmel, although he was outpaced in the back straight last time round. He stayed on though to be third and once in handicaps should find life easier. he is pictured with Derek.

Yesterday Blooriedotcom was rather too anxious and keen through his race, paying the price late on. His fourth place was creditable but he needs to become slicker at his hurdles and relax through his race. He is still young and I have every faith that he will improve with time.
