Happy New Year From All At Lucinda Russell Racing

A very happy 2020 from all here at Lucinda Russell Racing!

We had five runners today at Musselburgh all running with credit. Exit To Where enjoyed being handy in front and although he was headed three out he rallied to be third, showing a good attitude. In the same race Emirat De Cantana knocked off the rust with an improving round of jumping and this run should put him spot on next time.

Mighty Thunder was fourth in a hot three mile handicap hurdle staying on but unable to reach the winners, while Balranald ran a solid race under patient tactics; his jumping was better this time but he lacked the pace to quicken in the home straight. Finally, Gemologist ran better than her seventh position suggests, staying on into the front few, but just being engulphed by others after the last.

Last Monday Charmix ran a super race to be third at Haydock, backing up his comeback run at Aintree a month earlier. He looks to be back in good form.

We have five heading to Ayr tomorrow on ground that will be soft.

Haul Us In ran a stormer on her seasonal comeback to be just denied at the line, and although she carries top weight she looks in good form with herself and will love the ground.

Mannochmore has shown ability in his previous two runs over hurdles and although this looks a hotter race he has been steadily improving at home.

The form of Ain't My Fault's second place at Wetherby was given a boost with the winner Nuts Well winning again today, and Ain't seems to be thriving at home.

Grand Morning is back over hurdles after not sparkling over fences, and while he will love the ground he has a bit to prove.

Finally, we run the chasing type, Offheshoulder a winner of his point to point last spring he can still be green at home on the gallops and he is looking to gain experience tomorrow before going hurdling.
