A better run from Emissaire who was so unfortunate to be cannoned into by a faller beside him, stopping him in his tracks and relegating him five lengths behind the field. He tried to stay on and while a short head fourth, he was then promoted to third after the winner was disqualified. He is going the right way.
At Musselburgh tomorrow we have six runners taking advantage of the meeting being on and possibly the best ground available in the next few weeks. Destiny Is All is a good ground horse who will learn plenty in tomorrow's two and a half mile novice handicap chase. He should be the type to do well in the summer.
A Ladies Milan is similar, but we are keen to give him a confidence boost after a tiring run last time over further on soft ground. Summer hurdling will be ideal for him.
Lucky Flight was a star for us at the start of the autumn, winning two novice hurdles. He is better on good ground and steps up in class tomorrow, and into a handicap for the first time. He may lack experience compared to the others but he is a super type and we are looking forward to his run.
Dr Hooves ran a blinder here a fortnight ago and if this does not come too soon he should be very competitive again today. Do not discount Shanroe Street, pictured on the left who has come on for his seasonal debut and should like the ground better than last time at Ayr, albeit that he is still returning to full fitness after a long time off.
Finally, we run the Getaway five year old, Bollingerandkrug in the bumper. An athletic type from the family of classy chaser Bacchanal he has done everything asked of him so far. Racing at Musselburgh will be a new challenge and he is destined to be a chaser, but tomorrow will stand him in good stead for his future.
One For Arthur got a clean bill of health from Dr. John Keen at the Royal Dick Veterinary School this morning, after a scan showed no physical issue with his heart. He is wearing a twenty four hour ECG at the moment and that will be analysed before a full report from Dr. Keen at the end of the week.
