Sire Stowaway
Dam Miss Dundee

Prince Dundee is just a four year old but he has the frame and action to make a decent hurdler and chaser, and having had a season in training for point to points he will be ready to crack on with in the autumn.

By Stowaway, sire of Champagne Fever, The Worlds End, Hidden Cyclone and Kilcooly, Prince Dundee is out of the Bob Back mare Miss Dundee. He is a half brother to the 120 rated hurdler Ben Dundee and is from the family of Ned Kelly and Nick Dundee.

In April Derek rode this unfurnished four year old in a bit of work and over fences and he loved him. He gives a great feeling galloping and was clever and bold at his fences. He has size to go with his smooth action and is very clear of his wind. He has had one run round in a point to point where he was pulled up after a circuit and has just returned to pre raining after a holiday to strengthen and fill out.

I think that this young horse has great potential and should be a good type for novice hurdles, although with plenty of scope he will be a staying chaser the following season. He is the type to keep improving and at 16.3 hands high he will be an awesome type when he matures.

He is for sale in shares: 25% for £9,000 or 12.5% for £5,000 plus VAT.

A partnership will be set up with a central account.  Into this partners pay £480 (25%) or £240 (12.5%) and out if this training and race costs are taken. Prize money is credited to the account. The partnership will have a racing manager who will arrange VAT registration and reclamation.

Thus is an ideal way to become part of Lucinda Russell Racing with a good type of young horse and it should provide plenty of fun and participation. Please contact the yard or Oli Russell
