Assistant Head Girl At Kilduff
Our long time friend Siobhan returned to Lucinda Russell Racing in July 2020. Having worked here full time from 2006 to 2014 she then went part time, helping ride out and drive to the races until 2016. She joined Loch Leven vets as a veterinary nurse and qualified in 2019. Leaving in the summer, Siobhan joined us to help at Kilduff and now assists Vicky in her new role of head girl. Siobhan is eminently reliable and with her knowledge and experience of all equine veterinary matters, she has strengthened our team again.
Barn Manager At Kilduff
Janice is a super asset to the yard and brings a wealth of experience. Edinburgh born, the daughter of a trainer she has spent many years in America working in racing and for some of the top USA trainers and vets, riding track work and even riding the ponies who lead the horses to the start on raceday. With a keen eye for detail and the understanding of horse welfare and health, she runs the fourteen block to high standard and is a great support to the junior girls and boys.
Yard Girl at Kilduff
Fiona is orginally from Northern Ireland and came to Scotland to successfully study for a degree in Psychology. However, she has always had an interest in working with horses having started riding when she was eight years old and has slotted in perfectly since joining the team in September 2019. A mother to two young daughters, she has plenty to keep her busy when not in the yard.
Yard Girl At Arlary
Rita is Campbell Gillies' sister and she came to work for us full time in December 2012 having worked occassionally for us before then. She helps Ciorstaidh at Arlary, and her jobs include putting on the back massage machines, veterinary care, taking horses off the walkers, washing off horses after galloping, brushing off and spending time with each horse. When Rita is not working she loves to go racing to cheer on her family owned horses, and to spend time with her Mum and brother Finlay.
